AI output is not perfect: verify before you share

The detection, recognition and transcription on this site are performed by open-source AI models running on your device. They are good, but no detector is perfect: text recognition can misread characters, face and plate detection can miss a region, and transcription can mishear words.

This matters most for redaction. Before you share a redacted image, video or PDF, review the result yourself: check that every region you meant to cover is actually covered, and add any regions the detector missed (every redaction tool here lets you draw regions manually). You are responsible for the files you share.
